Casual Swimming

If you are not a member with us, you're welcome to come in and enjoy our aquatic facilities as a casual visitor. Whether it be a nice leisurely swim by yourself or with the family its perfect for those warm summer days. To utilise our facilities at your leisure, please ensure you visit us during centre operating hours.

Our facility has a 50m Olympic length pool and a toddler’s pool perfect for those little ones trying to cool off or gain confidence in the water.

Opening times for 2024/25 season

Lap Swimming: Monday – Friday: 6am – 10am,
Saturday: 8am – 12pm  
(Lap swimming is open regardless of temperature)

General swimming: Monday – Friday: 3:30pm – 7pm,
Saturday: 12pm - 7pm
Sunday: 12pm - 7pm
School Holiday Weekdays: 12pm - 7pm
Public Holidays: 12pm - 7pm
(General swimming is open as per the weather policy)

Weather Policy:
The pool will open in the afternoons if the temperature is forecast for 25 degrees or above in Nuriootpa at 5pm the day prior, according to http://www.bom.gov.au The pool will remain open an additional hour until 8pm if the temperature is forecast for 34 degrees or above in Nuriootpa at 5pm the day prior, according to http://www.bom.gov.au, at the discretion of management.

Pool will be CLOSED on Christmas Day and New Years Day. 

The centre is fully supervised by fully trained and qualified lifeguards and the pool is kept clean and beautiful by fully trained and qualified Pool Plant Operators.
